If it has been three to four hours since you had your heavy meal and you are still full, then there is no need to eat or drink anything; just start walking again.
But if you are used to getting up early in the morning and taking a walk or are feeling an empty stomach after eating dinner, then before going for a walk, you can have a pear, an apple, half a banana, or a small glass of smoothie, yoghurt or almond milk with fruits.

Running requires a lot of strength and stamina. Therefore, it is important to eat a healthy diet before running. If you have a problem with acidity, you should avoid dairy products or acidic foods. If you are going to run for several metres, then you should eat snacks an hour before running. You should eat toast with nut butter, a banana or a few almonds and pistachios, a small bowl of porridge, half a piece of fruit or a chocolate bar.

Avoid eating too much before doing yoga because you have to do twisting asanas while also standing on your head. You can consume fibre-rich fruits such as bananas, nuts, a cup of berries, oatmeal or other cooked pulses.
